lol, my mom used to say if we were to sick too go to school then we were too sick to get out of bed and watch TV or play. Hard to believe that all these years later if i call in to work for a mental health day, I never leave the house and just lay around all day.

My mom was a nurse. So all she did was call the doc. He’d call the drug store and I got my shot at home.

I would never stay home from school if I felt sick ’cause my stepmother would find all kinds of chores for me to do. I would get more rest at school.
