Rather than the weatherman, I would have gone with any of a number of Republican pundits that called the 2012 election.

Any report from the CBO predicting what debt would have occurred with a Romney victory? Just giving a tax cut to everyone while closing loopholes no one would ever identify would cost us close to that. Also, bringing back pre-existing conditions and gutting Medicare would cost a significant amount as more and more people would end up in the Emergency Department. Hey, Mitt said that Emergency Room care is free.

But he was wrong.

That adjustment was to bring the dates back into line with the seasons when England, and the 13 Colonies, changed from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian one.But the Mayan calendar didn’t need that adjustment. The Solstice of this year is the date that they meant, i.e. today.

Yes,, and the prediction by the Mayans was NOT that the world would end, but move on to an even greater age!

So, when everybody wakes up on December 22, 2012 and nothing happened, then what happens with all the doom and gloom people?
