I was watching a news report from Xul, in Mexico. Xul is Mayan and means "the end ". A bemused Mayan from Xul was trying to explain that the Mayans don’t think it is the end of the world, simply the end of a cycle. On the 22nd a new one starts. They are bewildered by all the attention & misinterpretation.
