With what we’re turning the world into…I would hope the Mayan calendar is right…

And if it is the end of the world, I ask to be part of the first wave to go…

If the Mayans were so bright, they would still be around. Oh Mister Boener, this does not bode well for you and your party. Now what he really needs is a blood sacrifice, McConnell would be great, as a sacrifice to the turtle deity!

Boehner looks like he thinks he’s dressed to appease a Kenyon.

The repubtards like Boehner, Cantor, McConnell, et al still believe in “voodoo economics” ala Reagan, and the crash “W” brought us, so please, don’t blame the Maya, they had a far more accurate calendar than Europeans of the day, and their religious folks didn’t say the world was flat.

What’s your sign? Poutine in gravy rising, or astral Ken-po master.

I was watching a news report from Xul, in Mexico. Xul is Mayan and means "the end ". A bemused Mayan from Xul was trying to explain that the Mayans don’t think it is the end of the world, simply the end of a cycle. On the 22nd a new one starts. They are bewildered by all the attention & misinterpretation.

Leaving aside the silliness for a moment, I’ve heard that Boehner’s real ploy here is stalling for time so he doesn’t have to take any kind of position until after the new Congress is sworn in on Jan. 3 and he’s re-elected Speaker of the House. Anything he agrees to BEFORE then might piss off too many members of his own party and he’d get dumped, but they’re unlikely to abandon him once he’s officially theirs.

Ha, that sarcasm is so funny. What makes it the funnies is that Obama is a complete and utter loon. Oh what a maroon.
