“No, let’s rearrange them to say ‘Stick it to the poor.’ "

Where’s your plan, Boehner? Afraid to put details in it, because it plunges America back in recession, puts all of the costs on the poor, and vastly increases our debt?

Is there some reason I keep seeing toons of these two, and only Boehner is smoking, even though they both do smoke? I know it’s a small thing, and there are plenty of excuses that almost sound rational, but look at it this way: even in the small things, the left’s bias shows through, and needs to be pointed out.

If I recall correctly (well, no, I looked it up), the passengers most screwed on the Titanic were the steerage class.

The President has negotiated. He has modified his stand on who gets a tax increase.Boehner just says that if he can’t get the President to agree with HIS position, he has a Plan B. That’s not negotiating.

Obama has offered cuts, modifications from original proposals, and come repeatedly out willing to negotiate. Boehner, Cantor, McConnell and the Republicans have all been holding their breath until they turn blue, banging their sippy cups on the trays of their high chairs, and refusing to cooperate. Throw them overboard!

Exactly! Obama’s Plan A and Boehner’s Plan B are both patterns for 2013 Disasters…..Varvel’s point is valid…the political and economical suicide D.C.-Media Farce gives no hope to American taxpayers or American Jobless/Underemployed! -this President and this Congress refuse to face the facts that “It’s the Spending, Stupid!”STOP SPENDING….STOP SPENDING…STOP SPENDING!

cjr53 said, about 2 hours ago@disgustedtaxpayer Stop spending on war.(end quote)…As the Constitution says, DEFENSE is a priority for our federal government. I support defense. When enemies planning to end our government of Liberty go so far as to declare WAR on America, and then do actual attacks, it is Proper and Necessary to use our Military to defend our form of government. cjr53 (preteen?) would have us stop defending our nation, and then where would cjr53 be? Jihadists would no doubt behead cjr53.

If you go through the stats provided on my link you’ll see that the survival rate overall for male adults for all classes was under 20% but the survival rates for women & children of other classes varied a great deal. Taking into account only 6 of the children were from 1st class, 24 from 2nd class, both classes with 100%; of the79 3rd class children, only 27 survived. Women 1st class 97% survived (4 died), women crew & 2nd class 86% survived, women 3rd class, 46%.Of the heroic males, 1st class male survivors were 34.5%, for 2nd class males, 8%, for 3rd class males 16%The rich in all gender and age groups were better off.

not sure but seeing congress is rich I do not seeing them taxing themselves. And I do not see taxing the rich doing anything but haveing them move out and /or passing the tax rate down to us. Cut spending !!!!!!!!!!!!

Short round 10: Viet Nam taught this “liberal” the level of violence he IS capable of, which is exactly why I object so strenuously to the constant efforts of “conservatives” to bring violence to other nations, or our own children, through ignorance of sane controls, and limitations on the capability for violence. Killing btw, is not always the highest level of “violence”, not by any means.
