If the side of the tub is so high for Calvin to climb up to get in, why isn’t one of his parents supervising him?

Not necessarily…-People around the world have probably had the same experiences as…“ARGH!!! MY EYES, MY EYES!!!”and “What has been seen cannot be UNSEEN…!!!”.-Remember that scene in “BRAVE” (moive) when Lord Dingwall said “Feast your eyes” and grossed-out the other lords and made a kid cried…??(Time index @ 1:14) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4EZULqhP2E

All nudity all the time would go a long way to reduce the size of the herd.

Would also speed up the time in line at the airport….

Calvin suggested in another strip that a tail is just a necktie for your butt.

Animals look good “naked” with only their fur as “clothes”. But with humans, very few bodies are truly perfect enough to be beautiful completely naked. As for everyone else who doesn’t fit into that perfection category (me included!) . . . clothes are a necessity to keep everyone around them from gouging out their eyeballs at the sight of so much ugly, flabby, saggy skin! A sad state of affairs at what we’re doing to ourselves to be sure — but still true nonetheless.

We wear clothes because unfortunately, we do not have fur…. or at least enough fur to do any good.

Listen to you guys commenting on how some people’s bodies shouldn’t be seen naked. Boy, you have all drunk the kool-aid, and I’m not even talking about religion! I happen to think my “creepy old guy” is super super sexy naked. Why don’t you all just lighten up and realize that we can’t all look like Ryan Gosling or [female equivalent du jour]? And maybe we shouldn’t want to! :-PPPP (Not that I would MIND seeing Ryan Gosling walking around in the buff.)

Because animals don’t know they are naked, and they are not ashamed. It wasn’t a tiger that partook of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It was man.

When people are naked and you are used to seeing people naked, it isn’t any worse seeing someone who has an ugly body naked or clothed because Nudists don’t stare.

Far from it. Religion teaches us that because our physical bodies are the pinnacle of God’s creations, modesty in dress is actually a sign of respect for them, not a sign of shame. After all, our bodies are intended to be temples for our spirits and for the glorification of God, not funhouses for public amusement. See 1 Cor. 3:16-17.

Love that commercial (on youtube) … http://youtu.be/fp9EXg0J6jw … some people need to leave it to our imaginations … and others need to keep it in their own backyards and pools out of public view … and absolutely agree about the SF decision to restrict public nudity – seems only the ugly old male exhibitionists were exercising the “right” … uuuuuugggh.
