The radical rich are hijacking this country. They have purchased: Fox News, the GOP, and parts of the Supreme Court. We need to go back to “We the people” not “Let the wealthy have it their way.”
According to the coward Mitt Romney, who refused to divulge his income tax returns, he “never payed less than 14%” even in those returns he wouldn’t let us see. I paid more than 14% year after year after year, personally, without being even 1% as rich as Mitt. QUESTION: In what Bizarro World could this POSSIBLY be considered fair?
There is nothing fair about the tax code. Why should someone give up 35% so someone else can pay nothing! Make it a consumption tax. That way if you don’t wish to pay, don’t purchase. Then I could believe that extending the unemployment benifits create jobs.
Easy one. The 47% pays sales tax, they pay hidden taxes in their rent and utilities, they pay withholding and FICA, and in all these cases, they pay more, percentage-wise, than those non-contributing putative job creators. In other words “they pay NOTHING” is about as true as “beheading won’t hurt anything.”
You should probably put those dirty old lies back where you found them, and read something less factually challenged than rightwing blogs.
The Mayans did stupid things like throw human sacrifices in their drinking water wells, and do all kinds of ritual painful carving on their bodies. We on the other hand, pollute everything, cut down forests, overfish, and cause climate change.
Almost all of the “47%-ers” work for a living. Dismissing them as “bottom feeders”, just shows what a ratbag your are. If the top 1% started paying employees more in wages, the “problem” of people paying no income tax would go away.
I agree How does paying 2 million in taxes not pay your fair share when there are people that never worked or excess government employee making over a 100 grand .
And all of the Dems played by the rules, just like the Rombot. It’s the rules that need changing, that and enforcement. But that would mean more of those damn overpaid gub’mint employees wouldn’t it? I believe Romney wouldn’t show his taxes because he took advantage of the 2009 tax amnesty. He also said anyone who would pay more than legally required didn’t deserve to be president. Then he under reported his charitable contributions so it made him stay over 13%for 2011. And we’re still waiting for the Bain Capital jobs. Anyone who works for Clear Channel, and rants about “attacking the job creators” better not look in the empty offices!
Damn straight! This is particularly true in local taxes, which tend to be extorted in the form of property taxes. I don’t have kids, don’t want them, and while I agree an educated populace is important to a society, I’m ****in’ tierd of paying for that education, especially since the parents aren’t proactive in their childrens’ academic success.

Question is, we must keep the tax breaks to have these persons create jobs. They’ve had the breaks for years so where are the jobs?
