MARY WORTH:Jim has finally come around, but why didn’t he respond to all of Dawn’s electronic messages. And they’re meeting by the pier, of all places, the place that Jim fears the most! It also occurs to me that Dawn may have encountered Jim at the same place she first met him: The cafeteria.

REX MORGAN: Delores seems more impressed by the romantic and social aspects of Rex rather thsan by his medical skills.
Judge Parker – last panel reveals that Randy and April want to elope. The women in the family will be disappointed, but it doesn’t seem like a big deal to me.Mary Worth – last panel, Jim appears. It looks like he’s used the time to pull himself together, probably with the help of a therapist. Wish it was so easy, in just a few weeks. Wonder if he’ll still want a romantic relationship or will just appreciate her friendship and be ready to move on. Hope the strip does too.Rex – Delores is very blunt. Being sick is kinda like getting old – don’t have time to play games.
What’s up with gocomics? Dick Tracy didn’t update for two days, just a red X. By clicking on Comments anyway, the strip would appear. True of a couple of other comics as well.
this morning i mentioned to a friend who i was chatting online with that i was going through the sunday comics and he rememered that his grandparents liked “Fred Basset” and i found it on gocomics
FUNKY W: I like the way the character is assessing the individual books in his library as he gets ready to see some of them. I wonder if he is aware of the current U.S. Supreme Court case related to copyright issues when selling used books (Kirtsaeng v. John Wiley & Sons).
MARY WORTH: Jim has a big smile and, even though we can’t see it, a prosthetic (his sleeve is no longer pinned up and his “hand” is out of view). But if he believes that Dawn will change her mind now that he has two arms, his smile may soon fade.
@JanCin, who are the figures we see in silhouette in the last panel of Sally Forth? The one on the right reminds of the king on Mr. Rogers. The one on the left also looks like a puppet also with the one in the middle a real person, but the plot(s) Hil and Ted are describing don’t sound like anything on Mr. Rogers. Maybe that’s the point – the TV characters don’t know what they’re talking about. So the TV characters are breaking the 4th wall. I’m just thinking as a write.
