Good morning, Vagabonds. I saw a quiz about the various James Bond movies from the Sunday paper. if no one else has seen it, I’ll try to copy it manually into B y E.
Yesterday a Chinese foreign student who studies cinemaphotography visited me for dinner. I made rice pilaf (from the package of Armenian rice pilaf) but I addes onions, veggie burger crumblies and craisins. I showed him the video I made of my trip to Xinjiang Province, including 2 Uyghur weddings I attended. He had never been to Xinjiang and had never met an Uyghur.
@ dkramI think you recently posted a movie Quiz here that turned out to be about Bogart & Bergman’s Casablanca. Some of the Vagabonds read the Mary Worth strip and post comments about MW & some other strips over at FoxTrot Espanol. Yesterday’s MW strip had the characters attend a movie theater showing the 1942 Casablanca movie.
Howdy Vagabonds..I have found that when the Fleming storys came to an end that I lost intrest in Bond movies..I never got into Mary Worth, to much like a soap opera I guess..My travels consist of: West as far as Canton, Ohio, south as far as Gettysburg, PA, North to Montreal, Que., and beleave it or not I’ve never been in Maine..I found on the internet the other day that 20 states have petitioned to leave Union including: Texas, hi David, and Montana, hi Montana Lady. I found that on Yahoo..It’s a rainy day, but it’s not monday..ttfn
We’ll wait until “Skyfall” comes out on DVD to see it. Not one of my favorites…..the new Bond has too much explosions etc. to suite me. MMM still likes them.

Cancer doctor routine check up today. Blood work, chest x-ray, and talk to doc. I’m expecting it to go very well. !!!!!!..
Leaving the computer for several days to visit my oldest son and daughterlaw in West Ga. As my oldest granddaughter will also be there for a while with my new great- grandaughter

@ dkram- Maine is almost or is the most beautiful state in the NE- over on it’s coast- my opinion
Good Morning, Vagabonds. I was here earlier but, it seems I forgot to submit… Again?Put a stew together last night before I went to bed. Slow cooked it while I slept. Woke up to a delicious smelling apartment. Made it to my personal recipe “a little of this and that, and other stuff”. Only mistake? Far too much rosemary. I forgot how little it takes. Oh, well. We live and, hopefully we learn. It’s edible, just got a bit of after-taste.
