They’re both chicken hawks, as are most politicians. They mostly want more war profits for their owners, the Wall Street bankers.

And Romney said their sons were serving a higher purpose by working for his election!

Romney also should be sitting on his dressage horse!

Romney is enough older than Obama to have been called for Vietnam; Obama was too young for it.Roughly being in the President’s age group, I know first-hand the draft ended and there was a long period with no wars to be in, and that 98% of people stopped doing stints in the military.

You aren’t a “chicken hawk” unless you push for the wars you refuse to fight in. That’s the “hawk” part. Romney and Cheney are chicken hawks. Obama and Clinton aren’t.

A Republican slashed your tire because he wanted to undermine the economic recovery. (Makes as much sense as any other explanation – other than ‘something sharp pierced your tire’.)

I think Romney’s policies would be enough to make Bush’s father barf up on the Japanese prime minister…….

Many people, and perhaps Romney himself, probably measure the US Navy’s strength in terms of total ships available for service. But a single nuclear powered aircraft carrier and its air wing have more offensive power than all the ships of the 1917 US Navy combined (including all those coal-burning battleships, armored cruisers and little 4-piper destroyer/torpedo boats). The comparison is pointless.

Not familiar with picking up a rifle to defend our nation’s interests, Mitt actually didn’t shoot himself in the foot, he stuck a bayonet in.

CorARYAN: There are no credible reports of voting machines "flipping " R to D because there are no voting machines owned by Democrats that anyone has ever reported. As for nasty, apparently you didn’t read the previous posts about Dems. So much for home schooling!
