Ah, but the leaping snails of the Pre-Octopode Era were much smaller. They had a strange, short lived fad of quieting the wails of their offspring with cyclop human dolls. The fad got so intense, that at one point, even the baby food was shaped into human form. Alas, leading to such very tragic results in the Octopode Era.
