Yesterday was the last of the “New” Barkeater Lake comic strips. This is a reboot of the “Old” Barkeater Lake strips from April 17, 2007.
Shame, I was just starting to enjoy the new style of the comic strip.

Nope, not a duplicate. This is the original start from April 17, ‘07. Go forward from that date if you want to read ahead, or from Nov. 2, ’09 if you’d enjoy Corey’s annotations. I like it far better than the “divorced incompetent barmaid” May 23, ’11 reboot attempt that we just suffered through for the past four weeks.
donwalter’s comment about this first one looking more “modern” is interesting, and I think shows that Corey’s drawing suffered during the reboot attempt as he was scrambling to get something, anything to market.
