   Hello to the crazy Cathy clan! What a weekend! I didn’t have any time to log on yesterday bc Lil had a cheerleading competition that took all day. They got third, but could have gotten second if not for coach’s decisions (their routine had moves too advanced for their level, so they were penalized).
   And Jr got sick Saturday night and is still feeling terrible. Will have to take her to the doc today, poor thing.

   Just go by yourself, Cathy! When my girlfriends and I have a shopping day, we split up and agree to regroup at a certain place at a certain time, and then we go have a meal. We would get so irritated if we tried to hang together at the mall.

   That is exactly the reason that I prefer to shop by myself. Then I can take the time I want to to look and decide without having someone pushing stuff at me or standing around being bored.

   Malls never provide enough benches for us non-shoppers to sit and people watch while our spouses examine every thing in every store.

    I hate shopping (as I tend to spend too much when I do) but I’d much rather do it alone — especially without my mom (who’s too slow) and my husband (who’s too fast) . . . and given the way I do shop, they’d probably much rather do theirs without me too!!!!!

     

    Hello to all my “Cathy’s Clan” friends! Hope everyone had a really nice weekend.

     

    Today’s the first time I’ve been online since last Friday. I had hoped against hope that when I logged on today and read what I’ve missed over the last 3 days, that my dear friends, Aaron and Dr. Billy would have been back here with us just in time to wish me a happy birthday on Saturday. So very disappointing they weren’t . . .
    I sure hope they’re okay — wherever they are . . .

    I usually shop alone if I’m really looking for something — ok to take my Hubby along, but not friends. If I just want to wander around, I do that with friends.
