What a shame that a couple of morons have to post such long, ignorant messages.
I just laugh at the fools who believe these numerous end of the world predictions that are always wrong, as P.T. Barnum said “there’s a sucker born every minute”.

That’s how the US hard right approaches science, so that then they can deny instances of “serious, well-thought-out” science e.g. climatology, evolution, etc.

Predicting the end of the world fits Einstein’s definition of a type of madness.

Sort of like the old joke about the guy who always carried a bomb when he flew. The odds for one bomb on the plane were so high, he figured they’d be even higher for two.

Nabuquduriuzhur makes some good points. From evolution to global warming nonsense, many of these pseudo sciences have taken on the form of false religions, being believed not because the facts support them, but because it is what the adherents WANT to believe.

Whoa. Some people are leaving monster long comments on this one. I guess they think since the world is gonna end, that there’s only so many words left. Might as well use up all the words!
