On January 1, 1998, he resigned from the Times-Dispatch to concentrate on syndicated editorial cartoons and comic panel features for Creators Syndicate.

Iran’s government is legitimate. There _is_a Jewish lobby (AIPAC). He didn’t say the U.S. should disarm unilaterally (Global Zero is multi-lateral by design). The outcome of the Iraq surge – as part of the Iraq war – has yet to be seen, history will be the judge of that. I like this guy, he has a measured approach to questions of war and peace. His biggest foe in the hearing once sang “Bomb, bomb, bomb – bomb, bomb Iran”. That should tell you everything you need to know about John McCain…

Communication is important (Duh). It is vital that the leader is able to impart their explicit and implicit goals/directions/command etc. clearly and without contradiction. I believe that the toon is simply saying that this is not a strong suit of this particular individual.
