    Oddly enough, the newspaper here refuses to post any “anonymous” letters to the editor. They always have the first and last name along with the letter writer’s home town.

    Same here. I got a letter posted in my local paper and then the next day someone who read it and disagreed with it sent me a message on Facebook. Thankfully he wasn’t a loon but I’ve been a bit uncomfortable writing in again. I love where I live…but I don’t trust the people around me LOL.

    I alway keep two saying in mind. You do not have a right to not be offended. And, You can never speak or write so clearly as to not be misunderstood.
