“Dogs are idiots. Think about it, Smithers. If I came into your house, started sniffing at your crotch and slobbering all over your face, what would you say?”-C. Montgomery Burns.

We had two bull terriers and a westie who insisted on all sleeping in the same bed, even though there were canine body parts hanging over the edge right, left and centre, and two empty beds next to them. They just loved each other.

Yes, it wouldn’t be a good idea to call her an idiot for not buying the right size bed for the big dog. (It’s too small for either of them.)

That just prove that both dogs are really idiots. Obviously she bough the right size but they are too idiot to pick the right one.

I have a similar situation in our home. However, it is the food bowls. The terrier insists on eating out of the large dog bowl. The lab mix, who is 4 times the size of the terrier, has to use the smaller 2 compartment bowl meant to hold the food and water of a small dog.

I don’t know, the smaller one has more room to spread out. Maybe he has a little intelligence.

My dog stays in the fenced yard when I’m at work (and it isn’t overly hot or cold). She does have a dog house outside. But, if it’s going to be rainy part of the day, I’ll prop open the door to the garage so she can go in. Does she? Nope. She’d rather play in the rain. But, she runs from the lawn sprinker.

When we moved, last; my dogs weren’t happy, even though they were sleeping in the same room as us. I let them out of their cage and two cocker spaniels took over two thirds of the bed. Two large people and two spaniels need three beds.

And they will STILL SLEEP IN YOUR BED>

If you had another you would have a Three Dog Night.
