    Is that like the joke,"How do you tell when your bagpipes are out of tune?’
    (Actually, I like bagpipes, but that’s beside the point.)

    Quick Trout! Distract Agnes by commenting on the size of her feet!
    .
    Bagpipes? Not in tune – stuck pig. In tune – either cry or grab a sword and give a warcry while running into battle.

    I’m with you! My thoughts are more like a series of committee meetings, all vying for my attention.

    I read this immediately after reading Richard’s Poor Almanac by Richard Thompson.
    The two comics fit together nicely today.

    It is like Agnes woke up in her body and it isn’t what she was use to.

    @SUSAN NEWMAN

    We don’t know how many times Trout used tact when dealing with her best friend, Agnes, just when she doesn’t.
    .
    I suspect Agnes has given her many more opportunities than she has used.
