    Agnes must have left permanent footprints in the principal’s office by now.

    Agnes’ observations are amazing. The principal should be in awe!

    Is there a skull on the principal’s coffee mug?

    Getting close to 60 years old, I feel that way about working out.

    @Bruno Zeigerts

    In Philly, at the museum of art, they have Converse sneaker footprints with the name “Rocky” above them. Agnes is certainly deserving.

    The short answer is no. The long answer is what you’re getting.

    Why does the teacher waste time asking Agnes a question? It’ll save a lot of time if Agnes goes directly to the principal when she gets to school.

    Put it all on Wikipedia, Agnes…then it will last forever.

    Yes. Yes I do believe you are correct Yigiman. That is a picture of skull on the Principal’s mug. But I think it has hair. So maybe…. a Walking Dead fan?
    which answers Agnes’ question … her body will endure, but her thoughts will not. …. That was the question, wasn’t it?

    I wonder if Agnes goes there without being asked now.

    So is Agnes’s principal is Leopold from “Scary Gary”. Suddenly this makes so much sense!

    The coffee mug looks like a furry animal, possibly a puppy, possibly an Ewok.
    The picture on the second frame looks like a child’s fair interpretation of Edvard Munch’s THE SILENT SCREAM as applied to classes in Agnes’ proximity.
    If Agnes were really worried about how much her efforts would outlast her, she might consider removing herself from the picture. I suspect many suicides happen that way.
    There can be little doubt Agnes has made her mark on the principal and her weary teacher, giving them both much material for humorous books and thereby entertainment for millions yet to come (or their own reasons for suicide contemplation).
    Finally, Agnes is working from the assumption that she perishes with her body. Perhaps cures to mortality will be developed ere she dies and she can live nearly forever either in the flesh or as a computer download. (not even counting the possibility of an immortal soul because those are even more iffy for comic strip souls than for humans).
