Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

Think before acting, or don’t think, you’ll probably be wrong either way. But by not thinking, at least you can save time.

Agnes’ attitude is what’s responsible for much of the misery in the world today.
BTW, I wish Calvin could see that Cyclops snowman.

I hope Agnes isn’t turning into a female version of Calvin. I like her better as Little Miss “I can do it.”

Hurbis doesn’t think. He just strapped a skateboard to a kayak and tried to paddle to work. He hit a real icy patch. He claimed he wasn’t thinking. …… Please…. Agnes is much more fun when SHE thinks. ….. It drives her teacher & principal crazy! :)

Yep, and those spoken thoughts are why the principal knows her so well.
