Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

Agnes’ plan presuposes the Lord is unaware of what she is up to.
Somewhat insulting if you think on it.
On the other hand, He loves the little children so who knows?

That reminds me of the kid who prayed for God to give him a bicycle, until someone told him God doesn’t work that way. So he stole a bicycle and then prayed for forgiveness.

Its Sunday. There must have been something in the Pastor’s sermon that gave Agnes this idea. Grandma is going to have to have a word or two with him.

That’s a rediculous comparison, eveybody knows President Obama is much taller.
nyuk, nyuk, nyuk

(Besides, Adolph would have been busy wondering if President Obama had Jewish ancestors.)

Considering that it’s been established that Agnes and her grandma are Catholic, it’s a given that they wouldn’t be using the KJV.
