    Also free music CDs. And free movies. And free online streaming videos.

    Back when Blockbuster was a thing, I was stunned when I realized that I could take a VHS out of the library for free and keep it for longer than the Blockbuster VHS.

    Libraries are fortresses defending the 1st Amendment.

    when I was a little kid in the 50’s , I felt the same way upon my introduction to the concept of a library.

    I could choose up to seven books to take home for FREE? I was in kid-heaven.seems like a million years ago compared to what kid-heaven is these days
