Perhaps the climate disasters that are occurring everywhere have gotten through to the EU at least. To repeat myself, it will be difficult and expensive to do what needs to be done for the climate, but it will be more expensive not to do it. If nothing is done, it won’t matter because there won’t be anyone left to see it.

I know I will get burned for saying this, but I was surprised to find that co2 is just .04% of our atmosphere. No wonder a 20% increase in co2 is a scary sounding number.

Oh, looky, some dude thinks that CO2 is insignificant! Well, duuude, what happens if you take all of the CO2 away?

I’ll tell you duuude. The earth freezes. All the moisture in the air falls to the surface. The oceans freeze more slowly than the land, but freeze they will. Oh, and all the plants that we depend upon for life — they’re dead.

OK, that’s extreme. What happens if we only take away half of the CO2? Welcome back, two mile high glaciers! Gosh, we have missed you! OK, we really haven’t missed you.

What if he only take away 1/3 of the CO2? Well, welcome back to pre-industrial levels, The levels that humans lived with when the developed farming.

What if we increase to say double the pre-industrial levels? Say goodbye to a lot of crops, get used to new coastlines.

No doubt this same duuude thinks the same about Ozone. Sure duude, let’s get rid of the ozone, and watch life die from exposure to ultraviolet light. It’ll be fun watching those skin cancers grow, no?

Just because a number may appear small, it doesn’t mean it is insignificant, duuude!
