Love the sweating and long days.
I’m kind of with Oscar on this one. In the winter you can bundle up and insulate until you need someone with a hand truck to move you. In summer, there are legal limits in most places as to how many layers you can remove. And more frequently, limits of taste that stop much shorter.
I don’t think I want to see a comic strip.
When I was a kid, I could always come in from the freezing cold and warm up in the winter, and I even relished going out in the cold for that reason. But in summer, when I came inside from the sweltering heat it was at least as hot inside, no matter whether I was at home, school, or my part-time job. Nowadays, just about everywhere I go is air-conditioned – but since I still travel mostly on foot, I arrive there smelly and drenched in sweat, with no chance to change clothes or take a shower till the end of the day. So I’m with Oscar and eddi_tbh.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
…so are my toes.
I wonder how long it must have taken to devise a rhyme for “snozen”. What a stumper.
Winter is better. After all, you can only take so many clothes off…
