Val: PHIL'S here. Remember - whatever he cooks, we're going to LOVE. DING DONG Alix: But, you told him we like KALE. We don't even know what kale IS. Val: Then you don't know you won't LIKE it. Holly: Whenever a mom says THAT you make sure the DOG is under the table. Biscuit: YIP?
My dogs love salad (even with a vinaigrette dressing), cooked greens (especially with a little butter, garlic and vinegar) and black cherry jello with mandarin oranges. The trick is to remember MODERATION! My small dogs get no more than a teaspoon of human food on top of their kibble, the German Shepherd, about a tablespoon. (Sorry, the little dog got me thinking about how many sick dogs I’ve seen after their owners fixed them a “holiday plate” (turkey, dressing & gravy — the whole nine yards). Can anybody spell pancreas-itis? My computer dictionary can’t.
