Val: Mom? Are you still a fenimist? Val: Of course! Holly: Omigod that is so '70s. Val: Holly, my values are not trends that come and go with the decades. Don't you and your friends believe in equality? Holly: Equality, yes. Feminism, no. Today, feminine is back - spike heels, long nails. Muscles are out, minis are in. Careers are in, but guys still pay, take out the garbage, change the oil. The new woman is delicate, but deserves everything. Val: Helpless, but equal?! Holly: Guys love it, which is what counts.
Beats the snot out of feminism…Only an idiot looks at a man and a woman and thinks “they are the same”. They are clearly not the same. Equal in terms of mind yes, but a man can’t have kids, and a woman is not designed to pick up a 200lb man and carry him over the threshold…It’s the differences between the genders that make life so interesting, and why a couple often just seems to “fit”. They balance each other because thats how they are designed.
