Wally: I'm serious about the summer job, Andy. You don't need to be idle all summer. Voluntee if you want, but do something. Andy: Volunteer?! As in no pay?!! Wally: There are lots of groups that could use your help, and you'll gain experience. Andy: Work - for f-free? Wally: As opposed to remolding the contours of the sofa cushions? Sure.
As a young person, I spent a summer volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Had a blast, and it was awesome starting with a hole in the ground and ending with a 2 – story house!
