Stone Soup by Jan Eliot We sit here staring blankly watching car chases and gore, doctor shows and lawyer shows and sitcoms, all a bore... We scan the many station for some higher thought or class but only find a story on a man who passes gas CLICK CLICK We're supposed to find it funny he's a great athletic star who makes the really big bucks and drives a great big car. YAWN His character and actions concern us not at all. The only thing that matters is how he throws the ball. !!@* And then he sells us something 'cause its ads that pay the bill, and when he says "Go buy it" we do - it's our free will. Holly, Alix & Max: Please?? So if you think your TV is here to entertain or educate or to inspire please try to think again... FLIP FLIP FLIP TV's the new religion. TV replaced free thought. TV replaced real culture. OH what a crock we bought! ZZZ ZZZ
I think things are only getting worse.
