Val: I didn't know you worked in teh '50s Mom. Gramma: It was before you were born. We wanted to buy a house. I worked in an ironworks. It was dirty, and a little dangerous, but I was young and it paid better than clerical. As long as I wore my protective gear and kept my wits about me, I'd come home with everything intact.
