What happened in Dallas is a tragedy. But so is what happened in St Paul and every where else a black person is murdered by a cop. The difference is the black guy who murdered the cops was killed by the cops. The cops who murder black people often never even get charged. Everyone who has such a out pour of emotion for the 5 officers who were murdered should consider for a second what the wife and daughter are going through who were forced to witness their husband and father shot to death right next to them just because he reached for his wallet after the cop demanded to see his licence.

If all lives matter, then why don’t all wrongful deaths get punished??

If this had happened in Syria (as it did in 2011 when terrorists shot policemen) it would have been called a revolution by oppressed people against a tyrannical regime, and Obama would have made a sanctimonious White House speech announcing arms and aid to the “rebels”. A bit different when it happens at home, isn’t it? Stinking hypocrisy.

The problem we have in the US boils down to a very simple belief. We hold that some lives matter more than others.

When we study history we find that looking at the laws a nation has written, tells us nothing about how those laws are enforced or neglected by society … actions speak louder than words.

“All Lives Matter”??? Don’t you know that means you’re a racist and belong to the KKK? BLM members told me so! Do you forget Hillary being booed for saying that?Oddly, Trump was cheered for saying it.

What is with all the anguish? You have a culture steeped in violence.. your movies and video games are full of shooting.. you train and send thousands to shoot others.. You give everyone the right to have guns.. and free speech to incite. You have set the stage for this.. tragic as it is.

God who created Man said that All Lives Matter, by His law that made Murder a Sin and a punishable crime by society’s authorities, in 21st century lingo, by due process of the Law.-I support 100% the First Amendment right to Free Speech, but I also support that certain Speech, like a person yelling “Fire” in a crowded room, that can result in injuries or death by a mass stampede to exit that room. In the same category, when Hate Organizations like “Black Lives Matter” publicly use internet and social media to Incite Murder of the selected targets, at this time, White Cops, they should be indicted on the evidence of their incitement, tried and if found guilty, punished. No one can morally, ethically, or legally incite Murders, as is being done daily in the USA. It does not help our society when top leaders like Obama and Lynch continually harp on a LIE that White Americans are “Racist” when government data shows that is not true, by who kills who, on the records.-(Jesus warned that these end-time of the Age days would be like the total takeover of wickedness and crime and killing in the days of Noah, when only 8 persons remained innocent of extreme criminal acts, and God saved them in the Ark, in order to restart the growth of Mankind on earth. Daily News is proving the words of Jesus very true.)

“God who created Man said that All Lives Matter, by His law that made Murder a Sin and a punishable crime by society’s authorities, in 21st century lingo, by due process of the Law.”God and prophets of god and a lot of people proclaiming gods will have killed a lot of people. But then, killing was not a sin, murder was. (and it is not murder if it is sanctioned.)

The republicans under Trump have certainly moved toward the evil side.

    1. It’s legal to own a gun in Canada, though of course there are some restrictions. I know people who own guns, for hunting. In Toronto we are beginning to have something of a gun crime problem; evidently most of the guns used in crime are imported illegally from the US.2. Of course there is free speech in Canada, again with some restrictions. For that matter, there are restrictions on speech in the US.

From a meme going around Facebook – Saying “all lives matter” is like going to the doctor with a broken arm and s/he says “all bones matter.” Well, yeah, that is true, but let’s fix the broken one.

@Ahab….you are seeming to be trying to whitewash the “Black Lives Matter” recorded written and vocal quotes plus the chantings during protests in public. What I have seen and read is vocalized HATE of Policemen and Whites. And the “Black Lives Matter” people are using vulgar language and name calling that is not acceptable in civilized society. Plus the leadership made it clear from the beginning that ONLY “Black Lives” were what mattered.

The exclusivity of Black Lives Matter is a huge liability and weakness. Dr. King knew better than to exclude people of other races and colors.

Black Lives Matter does not exclude people of other races and colors. That’s to start. Second, you don’t know much about Dr. King. About a month before he died I heard him speak in a small black church in Washington DC. I was sitting probably 30 feet from him. Most of the audience was middle-aged church goers from the community. This was during the rise of Black Power, and Dr. King gave his speech defending people such as Stokely Carmichael, who had moved towards a Black Power position. I remember his discussion of the phrase “Black is Beautiful”, which had become a controversial phrase, in somewhat the way “BLM” is controversial now. He said, “Well, I don’t mind saying Black is Beautiful”, and he sort of preened a little bit, and the two women sitting in the pew in front of me just melted, and I heard one say to the other, “Oh, he is so handsome!” He wasn’t excluding anyone, but he didn’t have to go to jail so that whites in the south could vote.

I have always, or at least since ’Nam, been convinced ALL LIVES DO MATTER.

Which, besides the NRA, who do we thank for the fact that the shooter also had armor-piercing, “cop killer” bullets in his gun?

Our nation does need to wake up to the fact that ALL LIVES, here, and abroad, DO MATTER.

If you really believe that ALL live matter, you would be horrified by the number of black lives that are being ended by the very people who were hired to protect them. Police shooting a man with a conceal and carry license who identified and was shot for going for his wallet when asked for ID. But ALL lives matter, because you can’t leave out white guys or they get really pouty.
