I have heard that when you have one cat, it thinks it is a person with all the privileges thereof. If you have three or more cats, they think you are a really poor excuse for a cat.
I try to always have two cats. They know the difference between person and cat. (And I can play them off against each other, when I have to.)
An amazingly friendly group of cats. Note tails wrapped around human. If I were raised by cat people I’d want cats. If I were raised by dog people I’d want cats.
