I’m tempted to print out this comic.
Interesting timing. I just finished reading the first graphic novel, Will Eisner’s A Contract with God, and was boning up on Eisner’s term “sequential art” and the notion of comics being the most effective drawn art medium to incorporate the concept of time. Adding CVS receipts to the mix really levels that up.
Today’s strip also reminds me of this one from a while back:
Would you classify this comic as a Mobius Strip???
Scott McCloud would be proud.
Seldom does Nancy have as many as 36 likes by the time I read it. Not only has OJ pleased readers who are looking for newness, or the comic exotic, whatever, she may also have hit a nerve of the 9 to 5 set.
I also use space to communicate the passage of time.
She just can’t stop checking her new retro LED watch.
