I get what Luckovich is aiming for, but: (1) the quaint image of the humble one-man/“family” farming operation is out of date, and (2) the giant conglomerates that ARE hit by the Trump tariffs are just going to pass the pain to the consumer, as all massive ‘glomers do. Also, Trump’s kick is WILDLY short of the farmer’s testicles, which I presume was mandated by a squeamish editor.
