The term Semite includes Arab people, but the context of the term antisemite in current use is meaningful. Additionally, a large percentage of the “pro Palestinian critics of Israel”, and in particular the protesters, are not Semites. Obviously, Palestinians living in the U.S. will protest the war; however, their rhetoric makes it very evident that they hate Jews, as does the behavior of non-Palestinians who have joined the protests.
