It’s been ages since I read an Archie comic.

Only in Texas. And maybe a few other backward states.

Darn kids! They ruin everything.

The incident occurred in 1999. The defendant was found guilty of selling an adult comic to an adult. The trial and appeals ran through 2003. SCOTUS refused to hear the case. Things in TX have only gotten worse.

The government wants to do all the thinking for you. Just sit back and let them control your life.

Adult comic book? I haven’t been to an American book store since the 80’s, usually in Duluth. Do they mean Japanese manga offshoots (I know there’s several variants)?

Texas is where they decided that education materials about the Holocaust were too one-sided and they needed opposing viewpoints for balance.
