Please refrain from feeding the pseudophilosopher. Anyone in science knows we can’t control temperature like a thermostat, but likewise, anyone in science also knows that human activities have created a situation of rapid global warming. The data is unquestionable that burning fossil fuels increases the atmospheric CO2, and the physics and chemistry of this increase are well-known. Do remember that the energy we are getting from those fuels is in the carbon-carbon chemical bonds which release that energy as we break them, energy that originally came from the sun through carbon fixation in photosynthesis. The problem is that the rate at which we have released this energy and produced free CO2 has disturbed the balanced environment we have been fortunate enough to have had since the beginning of the Cenozoic.
