It’s like extra spicy food: I like it, but it doesn’t like me. I may be done with Covid, but it has its own agenda.

Some say they are done with covid. But covid does not care what they think. And their arrogance only makes things worse.

She may be done with Covid, but it has other ideas and lots of willing breeding ground.

At some distant point in the future, the survivors of this extinction event, are going to look back and be amazed at our naivete and wonder just how in the world anyone could possibly be so stupidly self-destructive….that only applies if anyone does survive.

Covid ain’t done with us.

If only there was some way to increase our odds of survival and decrease the odds of Covids survival. Oh, yeah, there is, it’s called vaccination. Duh.

She needs to grow up. The pandemic isn’t done on her say-so.

Trolls seem to think that killing off 1% of the population is no big thing.

I’m confused – is it because they agree with this which was attributed to to Stalin? – When a man dies, that’s simply a tragedy. When a million men die, that’s simply a statistic. Isn’t that why they love Putin so much too?

Or is it because they’re so goddamned stupid they cannot fathom even simple mathematics like decimals and percentages?

I guess it’s probably more like what the little girl in that taco ad said, “Why not both!?!”

You may be done with Covid, but Covid isn’t done with you.

Those people who see beyond their nose know Bari Weiss was referring to being tired of our allowing ignorant, christian conservative anti-vaxxers to retard progress in eliminating the COVID strains.

We will not see the end of Covid, it’s here to stay. Take the needed measures to prevent infection. If you choose not to, know that you are being completely socially irresponsible and don’t think the medical system should kowtow to your care if you do contract it.

Some guy that needs a liver transplant said that he would rather die than get vaccinated, a requirement for the transplant, The hospital said fine.

There is already a sub-variant to Omicron….and so it goes.

The problem with Covid is that it keeps morphing and we don’t know if a new strain is going to be one that can’t be tamed.

Unvaccinated bodies are the meth labs of the covid virus, constantly cooking up new strains. People are dying of ignorance.

There aren’t any really isolated populations of humans in today’s world, so expect more events like covid that spread rapidly across the globe.

Michael Flynn has claimed Covid was invented by George Soros, Bill Gates and others in order to defeat Donald Trump.

The former three star general and adviser to the ex-president ranted about the pandemic during an appearance on the far right-wing Infowars website.

Mr Flynn has become a leading figure in the QAnon conspiracy theory movement, and even suggested that the US military consider a Myanmar-style coup.

He told Infowars that the World Health Organization, the United Nations and other groups “see themselves as ‘this is how we can rule the world, this is how we can control societies, this is how we can control humanity.’

“So let’s introduce something called Covid, and they did it, and they did it for a couple of reasons, one of the big reasons was to steal an election,” he said.

LaMay resigned from his position in objection to a mandate from Gov. Jay Inslee (D) that required most health care workers and state employees to be vaccinated against the coronavirus by Oct. 18, News Nation reported. Medical and religious exemptions would be considered.

Bari’s comment was both childish and pandering…to people who want to be given an excuse to behave in selfish, destructive ways.

It’s not going to be pretty if healthcare workers start giving up and decide to do something less horrible than watching people who failed to protect themselves die. Not something I’d like to look forward to, getting out of bed and getting ready for work. While huge financial costs are being covered by taxpayers, that money is not going into the pockets of the workers. It could get really desperate if this thing keeps up, vaccines or no. I have a granddaughter who is a nurse who just recovered from a mild dose she got caring for patients (even after getting her jabs), but she is no fool. If things don’t change, she knows she can get other jobs that don’t put her at risk.

Montana Shrill is probably correct, but what is his point. ? None of those afflictions he mentions is communicable, unless maybe he shares his chocolate with someone. Another right wing ..“Yes,…. Butter.”
