I think Garfield should have used a stop sign instead.
Sign squeak up for NASCAR?
Yep, that ought to do the trick.
Garfield, I think a speed bump would be more effective.
How DOES Jon get his eyelids on those fantastic angles (frame 2)?!
An excellent safety message from Garfield.
Garlfield, just give him a ticket.
The mouse has a need …. a need for speed !!! …
Garfield, just toss a few of those ‘sticky pad’ mouse traps down .. that will slow his roll for sure.
Make a toothpick garage for the car, Jon. That should pass the time.
what really would have slowed the mouse would have been to do some construction…things always seem to slow down around construction site areas…
That was perfect, Garfield!
The last panel (with the sign) could be interpreted in more than one way (such as the possibility of Garfield (the cat) transforming into the sign, or the possibility of Garfield having had just left the setting of the cartoon whereas Jon (the person) was imaging the sign).
Jon should know by now that Garfield isn’t a mouser
I would call : “The Mouse Hoghway Patrol”,And Initiate a Pursuit on that Suspect Rodent,The Car looks awfully new to me that meece probably is running away from something.Attention All units in the vicinity Code 10851 in Progress at The John Arbuckle residence fugitive last seen by two witnesses an Orange tabby and Mr.J Arbuckle Processed with caution,Mice could be intoxicated and armed.10-4.Heading West bound “Red Sports Vehicle”,suspect might be full of Cheese. Roger Over and Out.
What are they using for fuel?
Where is the school sign with the slow?!?!?
Now don’t disturb Garf, Jon, while he builds a better mousetrap.
Call mother goose, they found Stewart
This reminds me of E. B. White’s “Stuart Little”, when he drove to the toy car to find his bird friend.
Give him a ticket at least Garfield or call on him for speeding.
More rules. The standard response of people who aren’t interested in correcting the real problem.
Jon stop feeding Garfield for few days and observe how the feline chases and devours the rodents.
