Much as Republicans work it to hate him, what they hate most is he’s one of the very best, from either party, ever, at “hooking” an audience.

I remember when Bill Clinton came out to our plant to speak in support of the International Space Station that we were working on. He was not too proud to speak to the ordinary middle class aerospace workers in the machine shop area!

I really did want to shake the hand of the man that was fighting for us, but to tell the truth the women in the plant (normally very sober gals that absolutely were not groupie types at all) crowded around him yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. I gave up, but was still happy to have actually seen and heard the President of the US in person!

No, that certainly does to make him some kind of a God by any means. But, he is certainly one of the most popular of our ex presidents ever!!

When I first met Governor Clinton, he offered to shake hands. I tolld him I couldn’t help him as I was not from Arkansas. He grabbed my hand and gave it a firm shake, saying, “You never know,son, you never know.”As governor, he worked one day (or night) a month at a regular job to get the feel of the people. I respected him for that.

Hmmm, impeachment over a blow job, versus NOT impeaching for lying to Congress, violating the law they passed, and starting a war that killed hundreds of thousands of people, to “get even” for an affront against your daddy.

Which would appear to be “hate” related.

that kid wasn’t even born when clinton was president. does he even know the y2k hype, or that justin timberlake was a boy band singer, or cell phones were the size of bricks, or dsl was the fastest speed to connect to the internet, or remebering nes, snes, genesis, turbgrafix 16, gameboy with tetris, 3do, game gear, lynx, playstation, saturn, or n64. or, playing goldeneye for hours. or, that alanis morrisette was on that show, you can’t do that on tv before singing jagged little pill. or, that starcraft is crack. or, know the words to parappa. or, pokemon had red and blue. or, debating if megadeth or metallica is a better band. or, beepers, discmans, or aol coasters. or toonami. or, wishing your dad was head of nerv(neon genesis evangelion reference). or, know the answer to gee, brain, what’ll we do tonight? the same thing we do every night pinky. or, what jeremy spoke in class today. or, world is a vampire. or, there is a man in a box. or, who is really keyser soze.
