He’ll always have a thong in his heart… (Which sounds really uncomfortable!)

Back in the 1960s-70s in the upper midwest we usually called those flip-flops thongs. And gay meant happy (to us kids anyway). And organic meant a living thing that has/had organs. Funny how terms change.

It’s not just Aussies that call them “thongs” – I grew up in MN and that’s what we called them as well. ;-)

In my days 70’s we called them thongs for the feet and did damage to the toes. Now I wonder what the song was?

I’m in Iowa, and thongs were more expensive than flip-flops. Those were the things that were all rubber, and as they got older, the toe divider would come up from the bottom of the flip- flop and you would have to poke it back down in there, only to have it pop out again! Thongs were made of harder rubber and leather uppers.

Well I never heard of them before the underwear and would not wear either one (never have). In either case, I’d rather be entirely bare than that (feet or other). I like to be comfortable.

And Cylene is a witch, no matter how you spell it.
