This one is hard to interpret. We put a ton of money into the banks to lubricate the credit market and get the economy flowing again. And they refuse to tell us what they’ve done/ are doing with it.
I’ve written to all 3 reps to DEMAND that the banks be held accountable for that money. NO SECRECY! NO BONUSES! Or else GIVE IT THE F*CK BACK TO US!
I’ll bring the pitchforks if you’ll bring the torches.
Wasn’t the bailout bucks supposed to trickle down to the folks that were in threat of foreclosure? I just haven’t seen very many folks on the news jumping with joy because they were saved with funds from the federal/bank related programs.
I could have a $8/hr job Monday morning just by showing up as a warm body WILLING to work my balls off doing what ever I was told to do. Lower your ego driven expectations. Take an illegal’s job.

oldlgo, you are too freakin funny! i worked concrete construction for 25 years before breaking my ankle 2 years ago. i couldn’t hire a legal citizen if i tried. the work was just too hard for the spoiled, lazy, “the world owes me”, americans. yes, it was hard, dirty, hot, sweaty work, but i went home every night with a sense of a job well done, and i never suffered from insomnia! i have to laugh when people complain about illegals, these people are building you roads, bridges, and houses. and getting the food you eat onto your table. would you work in a turkey slaughterhouse for 10 bucks an hour? thought not
