Problem with that, buddy, is that all of his high-profile critics here in the UK were Conservative politicians and the Conservative press.

As we taught Mitt, it’s best to put brain in gear before opening mouth.

And, josefw, he only retracted the statement out of embarrassment. Nothing had changed in the interim ….

I guess honesty is a thing of the past. The more one can fabricate and be PC the better he or she is liked! Time to move to an undisclosed place where values are honored and hard work is rewarded.

A disingenuous strip. Morin knows why they called him “Mitt the Twit” and still chose to publish this tripe.

I guess Atlanta wasn’t ready either. I seem to remember a bomb during their Olympics. Mitt should bring this up while he’s campaigning through Georgia.

like the pm said, it must easier to host the olympics in the middle of nowhere slc, than in a bustling, busy city called london. plus, wasn’t he there to watch his horse compete in dressage. also, mitt needed a gov’t bailout of a billion dollars to host the 2002 slc games which he was still the man at bain capital.

Mitt has many problems, but previously I would not have said he was stupid. He was stupid here. His inability to connect with voters or indeed anyone exactly unlike himself seems to be indicative of a deeper-rooted problem. This is a dangerous man to put in the White House.

Mitt admitted back in Olympic prep days that Salt Lake WAS the middle of nowhere, which made it “safer”.

OUR problem is that with seven BILLION people in the world, our foreign policy is determined by what a little trouble-making country with six million people decides, and even that is only HALF their population with the most aggressive nature.

It’s time to stop kicking sand in the world’s face, to save face with a politically powerful group at home representing less than 2% of OUR population!

Yes, minorities DO have a right to exist, when they’re willing to do it peacefully, but isn’t it time we recognized that they shouldn’t be allowed to RULE?

MItt is out to kiss up again, while he kicks our “true friends” in the teeth. He IS a twit, but certainly not alone in ignorance, but it’s PAST time we “wised up” to reality.

Nothing like a comic strip to get all the adolescents beating on those who actually know what they’re talking about.

Put a vulture capitalist in the presidency and it will be your carcass he’ll be feeding off of.

Even the Rupert Murdoch conservative press is calling him worse than Sarah Palin. The attempt to spin idiocy as “truth” on this board by the desperate conservatives is quite amusing. The one bright spot — think if it had been Rick Santorum trying to do a charm tour! He would have been skinned alive. These guys are not ready for life in the real world.

Most common comment traveling abroad when Bush/Cheney were in, "We still love Americans, it’s your “government”, as in Bush/Cheney, we can’t stand." Second most common comment: “We couldn’t BELIEVE they got re-elected!”

Today, most of the world has a much greater appreciation of our people, and even the government, when we aren’t trying to blow everyone up. Mitt, and other “chickenhawks” jeopardize that “friendship” alternative. Looking stupid in Israel, AND in Britain, doesn’t help.

If Romney and his friends had created some jobs here in America over the last two years, they could show that to the electorate, nominate one of their highest producers of jobs, and the election would be a foregone conclusion. Why didn’t they?

Follow the money. Who gets more money when there is high unemployment, so wages can be kept low?

Do you reject the notion that the president of the United States is “the leader of the free world”? Only if you do does your comment to Morty make sense.

You could tell when Cheney was lying, because his lips were moving. You knew “W” was saying something stupid in the same manner. With MItt, moving lips means lying AND saying something stupid!

The world’s reaction to the USA with president Obama is more positive than it was with Bush or anyone else in near history. But then Romney doesn’t tell truth. He may not be able to tell what is t ruth and what isn’t.
