Well, are we to believe in the world coming to an end this year because the Mayan calendar ran out? Which of these so called ‘truths’ do we believe?

No, a single storm doesn’t indicate climate change. HOWEVER, the DECADES of increased storms, and severity, and global biological impacts DO indicate climate change. The change is also DIRECTLY LINKED to the seven BILLION people on the planet, pumping out heat, and their “waste products” that are a LOT more than just CO2.

Warmest 12 months on record since records started in 1895. Also warmest decade. Droughts are back, but the “dust bowl” hasn’t quite returned (look out PHOENIX for more of those dust storms) because in large part, agriculture corrected their past mistakes in the mid-west. But hang on, “conservative thought” is trying to reverse that progress too!!

There is also a difference in predicting something complicated like global warming and predicting something like….predictingthat corporations would make enough cellulosic ethanol to meet EPA requirements.I think Republicans dragging their feet have something to do with that subject, too.

Ahab: the House Natural Resources Committee under “Doc” Hastings has passed out the MOST RIDICULOUS “legislation” in the history of the U.S.. The committee view is “screw posterity James Watt is Jesus”. The Repubtards on the committee are total idiots, and it’s interesting that their idea of “bipartisan” is All repubtards vote yes, and all Dems (not counting “blue dogs”) vote against.

Their intent is to 1. Eliminate ALL environmental regulations and laws, and 2. Follow spinhead Boehner’s directions to try to “legislate” all activities of ALL agencies in the Executive branch, and “screw that idiot Constitution”!

Check ‘em out, it’s unbelievable, just like ALL House committees under Boehner, just ludicrous!!
