I made a batch of my healthy breakfast bars last night -but that late, with so many ingredients, I forgot one (a 1/4 cup of hulled sunflower seeds) and I was a little short of a full cup of walnuts, so I substituted some pecans and pistachios). At least all the most important elements are in it (3 chopped organic galas and 1/2cup of raisons soaked in vanilla and the full cup of rolled oats & same of whole wheat flour, 3 eggs and 6T of butter).
I have often thought a donut place should make a jelly donut (raspberry, maybe grape, for this particular donut) and put crushed peanuts on top. Would be like a PB&J sandwich of my younger days (yesterday).
