If you call a civil war and with Islamist winning, yeah everything worked out great in Libya.

And if we had done air strikes and flattened everything without going in on the ground using rules of engagement that match word for word what was imposed in Vietnam, imposed by liberals and democrats, that only get our soldiers killed, we would not have taken so long to get out.

I’ll tell Obama what I told Bush in 03; Go ahead, have your little war, but when the first civilian is killed, you have to go home. A “humanitarian war” might sound oxymoronic, but it’s the only war I can support even slightly. At what point does it become acceptable to kill your civilian population? Do you live in that much fear that you have to impose it on others in order to keep whatever power you think you have? We will sit back and tut-tut them from afar. There is no financial gain, so why go to Syria?

True, it was a joint decision, but it was decided on the basis of lies fed to us by the Bush administration. If we had known the truth, we might have decided to mind our own business.

What do you mean, “If we had known” there were no WMDs in Iraq? Hans Blix and Mohammed al Baradai had searched for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq before we went in. They reported that they had been able to look anywhere they wanted and had seen no evidence of WMDs. The Bush administration said, “No! They’re there, we know it!” and talked the country into attacking. I knew before the war began that there were no WMDs, so don’t give me that.

Yup, let’s jump into Syria, it isn’t like we know who any of the sharks there are (we don’t actually), or can use OUR “air superiority” in a targetLESS environment. Yup, “chickenhawks” rule!

Because everyone knows that Hil was a “Goldwater Girl”, more apt to go to war than not, in her rush to appear “Presidential”.

Homs is in Syria, not Iraq. The sign points the wrong way.
