Ted Rall for May 28, 2012
Transcript:
Deep beneath the earth's crust lies the superRomenyPAC attack bunker. Man 1: People are pissed off at Obama. Man 2: Great. About what? Woman: He didn't help the jobless or the foreclosure victims. He didn't punish the banksters. Healthcare: No public option. Man 3: But we agree with all that.

Isn’t that what the GOP was complaining about, back in the Primaries?

A couple of Rall’s strips last week were a little edgy for my taste, but this one shows how good he can be.

“…..Thanks for taking the opportunity to honour those who’ve paid for your liberty & freedom to be an ingrate on Memorial Day & Veteran’s Day…..”.How in your grandest delusion does killing, injuring, maiming, displacing innocent people the other side of the globe give liberty and freedom?? Not to mention bankrupting the country at home. Those veterans would serve better by working at home.

“Thanks for taking the opportunity to honour those who’ve paid for your liberty & freedom to be an ingrate on Memorial Day & Veteran’s Day.”
Can you imagine what a Memorial Day cartoon by Ted Rall would look like? Maybe staying away from the subject is the kindest thing Ted could be doing.

Best commentary I’ve heard is the Democratic platform is going to be,“Vote for us; we’re lame, but the other party’s nuts.”

The difference is that Republicans in Congress would vote “Yes” on the legislation Romney would call for even though it’s identical to the legislation they voted “No” on when Obama called for it.

Good one Ted. There is not as much difference between the two as each group would like to believe. Which makes me wonder if Romney gets elected would the R’s be able to admit “He’s doing the same things Obama did. But now we like it”

I thought you had said that Bachman was the change we needed,And then it was Perry is the change we need, and then you said that Cain was the change, or was it Santorum? And then when you couldn’t get Gingrich either, SUDDENLY Mitt’s the second coming of Gerald Ford. And Carter, yes. The President that wouldn’t negotiate a Guns for Hostages deal with Iranian terrorists. Totally evil of him, wasn’t it.

Rall nails it yet again. America has now learned that white men do not have a monopoly on being shitty presidents. Unfortunately, America will never learn this lesson well enough until it learns that MEN do not have a monopoly on being shitty presidents. Stay tuned!

I can hardly wait for the GOP convention, where Romney accepts the nomination as “Whiter Shade of Pale” blasts from the sound system.

I didn’t think Bush had any ideas.
