“…out-of-control spending…”--Ah yes, the republican way. Spend money that doesn’t exist on Star Wars Defense systems, plus wars in Iraq and Afghanistan on credit then blame the democrats.
That so called extra five trillion burned in three years is overwhelming the result of three things:1. Two wars started by Bush costing around $2 billion per week.2. The deepest recession since the Great Depression that Obama inherited from Bush drastically reducing tax revenues and increasing mandatory social benefits.3. The Bush tax cuts during double wars and other financial commitments that were complete fiscal recklessness and incompetence.
