Kill the soil, kill the forest. We had Jim Watt doing the same thing, and the “idiot brigade” drumming things up for “commerce” haven’t learned.

Okay, “Ima” is a constant parody of “right wing views”, because nobody, nobody, can possibly be that stupid, not even the most devoted Limbot.

“A tree is a crop. It takes years to grow but that’s its purpose on this earth. Would the tree huggers prefer the tree dies and rots? Besides, the cultivators plant more trees than they cut. But for the sake of the liberals: BOO HOO NO MORE TREES IN THE WORLD. Global warming will kill them all. Let’s all hug trees because we are here to serve and worship them. Make you happy?”Go look up what happened to the inhabitants of Easter Island. There are ecologically sound logging practices, but there are too many sleazy companies who can’t be bothered.

God gave all the creatures to man for his benefit and to husband as he sees fit. A free market is best and will self-regulate, no government (rules, regulations, and taxes) required; technology has proven to be there just in time if something does go astray; for the true believer to worry about all of the former is needless as rapture is near.

Yes, trees can be a crop, but man did not plant the forrest he is “harvesting”. The ecology of the hardwood forrest floor is very complex; fallen trees are home and food for thousands of species. When man re-plants, it is usually with softwoods of a single species, creating a very simplified ecology which supports very few species. Ignorance is not bliss!
