In France, you can buy horse meat — I think you can buy horse meat in Quebec, as well, though I don’t know that by experience. Horses are just as smart as dogs. I wouldn’t eat a dog or a horse, but I do eat pork, and I’m told that pigs are pretty smart as well. A lot of people are inconsistent on these questions, and I wouldn’t be the first to throw a stone.

When my uncle was a pow in Japan during WW2, he ate dog meat and was glad to have it. Does that make him a bad person?

Really, who cares? India, they don’t eat beef. Other parts of the world they eat rats, bugs, grubs and all sorts of things Americans consider unsavory, including dog. Dog is on the menu in Asia. I’m sure vegans are grossed out by people eating lamb, mutton, beef, chicken, fish, seafood etc. True or not, this has nothing to do with fulfilling his duties as president.

“Let’s focus on Obama wasting trillions of dollars "How about some data or verifiable facts? What do you mean by "wasted?’

I suspect the only reason you’re saying “trillions” is to make it sound worse than the trillion wasted in Iraq.

I would never vote for Obama, but this is a silly issue. He was a child, not in control of what he was fed, and in a culture where eating dog is not uncommon. Stick to making fun of his policies; there’s enough material there to last for years (although hopefully we won’t need it much after November)!

Let’s focus on reality, not on the mind projection fallacies of republicans.
