Uh, do folks realize that it’s actually CHEAPER, by a considerable factor, to hold conferences in Las Vegas than D.C.?? It’s the per diem, among other things. Also I used to get upset because winter meetings would always be in Florida or Phoenix, and I’m a skier.(and lost some really good ski weather to attend conferences!)
GSA and the Secret Service gaffes represent ignoring all rules and “protocol”, but it isn’t by any means the first time. But it DOES represent S.O.P. for “corporate conduct”.
Do they still get W.A.M.? Walking Around Money. There is a great disconnect between Lawmakers and the millions of unemployed Americans. The Lawmakers have NO CLUE.
